Guns and Gunmen part1 by AGMorgan Guns and Gunmen part1 by AGMorgan
I can't count the times I've seen this in art. Poorly drawn guns, handled in an irresponsible manner. It's enough to make a cool character look like a complete tit.

Though I have only a basic knowledge of firearms, I do know the basic rules of firearm safety and how to draw a passable gun. I hope that this series will help artists avoid these gaffs.

Yep. Second and third rules of firearms violated right there. "Don't point it at anything you're not willing to kill or destroy", and "keep your booger hooks off the bang switch until you're absolutely sure you're ready and willing to shoot."

Hmm...must remember this for future reference.

(And I think the Russian plumber was tripping, not drunk, but that's something else entirely.)

I'd have added the first and forth, but one doesn't often draw something that involves "All guns are loaded" or "be sure of whats in front and behind your target".

I'm glad you liked it.

(Maybe, but the plumber in question was not playing with all the dice on the board. So to speak.)
